Cota Cole can assist with a wide variety of legal needs relating to the agribusiness industry, including permitting, Williamson Act issues, CEQA, environmental rules and regulations, water rights, and other matters. Cota Cole is also a member of several County Farm Bureaus throughout California, including Placer, Sacramento, Santa Barbara, Solano and Stanislaus County Farm Bureaus, and is always willing to assist other Farm Bureau members in whatever capacity we can.

Cota Cole attorneys are also highly experienced in employment matters. Our attorneys provide employment advice and counsel services – reviewing, drafting, and updating personnel policies and procedures, personnel rules, leave policies, and employee handbooks – and litigation and litigation support services through the prompt investigation and defense of claims brought by employees in administrative forums (such as SPB, DFEH, OSHA, and other administrative bodies), or in state and federal courts. Cota Cole is experienced in all aspects of employment litigation from wage and hour defense to defending against allegations of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. Cota Cole also provides training for employers and managers with regard to proper handling of workplace and personnel issues, including progressive discipline.
