*Cota Cole & Associates handles all phases of collections matters. Sometimes it is as simple as sending an initial demand letter to a client/customer that is in arrears that will prompt that client/customer to pay the outstanding balance. But for those times when it is necessary to push harder and file a complaint with the Superior Court, Cota Cole & Associates employs Michelle Barrett, a paralegal with 12 years of experience in handling collections. Her work encompasses all phases of collections matters, from the initial demand letter, preparing and filing the complaint, through entry of judgment and on to satisfaction of the judgment. Ms. Barrett has been very successful in locating assets to satisfy judgments, utilizing bank levies, wage garnishments and real property liens. Working with our paralegal at a lower hourly rate permits our clients to keep their costs down and provides for a higher net recovery to the client. Ms. Barrett's work is overseen by attorney Scott Huber.
